Why we built this.
Simply Binary is a government contractor. We ran our contracts, tracked timesheets, but struggled to track margin. TimeCaptain is the answer to the question we kept asking: why does it feel like we don't have the numbers to make the right decisions?
Every contractor makes the same recurring decisions. Hire or hold off. Reprice a mod or renew at the same rate. Move people between contracts. Chase the next RFP or skip it. Send the invoice today or wait. Each of those calls has a right answer, and the right answer changes day by day with the data.
Most contractors are making those calls on numbers that are weeks old. By the time the books close, the contract you should have repriced is half over and the CLIN you should have stopped charging has already blown its ceiling. TimeCaptain closes that gap. Margin, burn, utilization, and rate variance update the same day a timesheet is approved, so Tuesday morning's decision is based on Tuesday morning's numbers.
